the government’s net revenue collection in the first 5 months of fiscal year 2024 (October 2023 – February 2024) was 981,902 million Baht, which was 25,144 million Baht or 2.5% lower than the revenue target.

in the first 4 months of fiscal year 2024 (October 2023 – January 2024), the government has received 831,752 million baht of revenue on cash basis and disbursed 1,182,526 million baht of expenditure.

in the first quarter of fiscal year 2024 (October – December 2023), the government has received 622,652 million baht of revenue on cash basis and disbursed 963,782 million baht of expenditure. To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 20,000 million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of December 2023 was at 209,616 million baht.
