the government’s net revenue collection in the first 4 months of fiscal year 2021 (October 2020 – January 2021), was 709,007 million baht. The collected revenue was 60,030 million baht or 7.8% lower than revenue target and was 106,292 million baht or 13.0% lower than the same period of previous year. Revenue collection was lower than the target due to the economic impact of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

the government’s net revenue collection in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021 (October – December 2020), was 515,749 million baht. The collected revenue was 39,998 million baht or 7.2% lower than revenue target and was 92,225 million baht or 15.2% lower than last year.

in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021 (October - December 2020), the government has received 605,797 million baht of revenue on cash basis and disbursed 1,018,301 million baht of expenditure. To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 340,810 million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of December 2020 was at 473,001 million baht.

The collected revenue was 15,487 million baht or 8.5% lower than revenue target and was 73,712 million baht or 30.6% lower than last year. Revenue collection was lower than the target due to the economic impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the implementation of government’s tax relief measures to support individuals and businesses.

PDMO engaged in the book-building of the sustainability bond (ESGLB35DA) in the amount of THB 20 billion on November 24th, 2020. It was once again well received by all investors including insurance companies, mutual funds, financial institutions and foreign investors with the yield offer of 1.652% per annum. The proceeds will be used to refinance the expenditures on the expansion of the Mass Rapid Transit Orange East Line, which is in line with the SDGs and climate change movement through the promotion of low carbon transportation.
