the government’s net revenue collection in the first 4 months of fiscal year 2020 (October 2019 – January 2020), was 811,773 million baht, which was 14,190 million baht or 1.8% higher than revenue target but was 0.3% lower than the same period of last year.

in the first quarter of fiscal year 2020 (October – December 2019), the government has received 646,219 million baht of revenue on cash basis and disbursed 810,084 million baht of expenditure. To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 26,314 million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of December 2019 was at 316,370 million baht.

Remittances from State-owned Enterprises and revenue collection of Revenue Department exceeded target by 4,744 and 3,006 million baht or 7.5% and 1.2% respectively.

Remittances from State-owned Enterprises and revenue collection of Revenue Department exceeded target by 5,548 and 2,415 million baht or 9.6% and 2.0% respectively.

Mr. Lavaron Sangsnit, Director–General of the Fiscal Policy Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, stated that in fiscal year 2019 (October 2018 – September 2019), the government has received 2,538,432 million baht of revenue on cash basic and disbursed 3,043,177 million baht of expenditure. To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 348,978 million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of September 2019 was at 512,955 million baht.
