Mr. Pornchai Thiraveja, Director General of the Fiscal Policy Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, stated that in the first 5 Months of fiscal year 2022 (October 2021 - February 2022)

in the first 4 Months of fiscal year 2022 (October 2021 - January 2022), the government has received 769,372 million baht of revenue on cash basis and disbursed 1,260,382 million baht of expenditure. To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 338,465 million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of January 2022 was at 403,579 million baht.

the government’s net revenue collection in the first quarter of fiscal year 2022, October – December 2021, was 557,173 million Baht. The collected revenue was higher than the revenue target by 29,651 million Baht or 5.6% and higher than the same period of the previous year by 5.6%. The collected revenues from the Revenue Department and the remittances from the State-Owned Enterprises were higher than the targets by 49,695 and 6,362million Baht or 13.7% and 15.1%, respectively.

in the first 2 months of fiscal year 2022 (October - November 2021), the government has received 347,430 million baht of revenue on cash basis and disbursed 767,400 million baht of expenditure. To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 249,915 million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of November 2021 was at 429,904 million baht.

in the first month of fiscal year 2022 (October 2021), the government has received 162,410 million baht of revenue on cash basis and disbursed 510,234 million baht of expenditure. To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 82,000 million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of October 2021 was at 305,973 million baht.
