Mr. Pornchai Thiraveja, DirectorGeneral of the Fiscal Policy Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, stated that the government’s net revenue collectionin October 2021, the first month of the fiscal year 2022, was 194,336 million Baht. The collected revenue was 10,868 million Baht or 5.9% higher than the revenue target and 12.9% higher than the same month of the previous year. The collected revenues from the Revenue Department and the remittances from the State-Owned Enterprises were higher than the targets by 6,952 and 5,350 million Baht or 6.1% and 15.7%, respectively.

the government’s net revenue collection of fiscal year 2021 (October 2020 – September 2021), was 2,369,926 million Baht. The collected revenue was 307,074 million Baht or 11.5% lower than the revenue target but close to the previous year.

the government’s net revenue collection in the first 11 months of fiscal year 2021 (October 2020 – August 2021), was 2,105,023 million Baht. The collected revenue was 285,670 million Baht or 11.9% lower than the revenue target and was 57,292 million Baht or 2.6% lower than the same period of the previous year.

in the first 10 months of fiscal year 2021 (October 2020 - July 2021), the government has received1,969,223million baht of revenue on cash basis and disbursed 2,654,921 million baht of expenditure.

in the first 9 months of fiscal year 2021 (October 2020 - June 2021), the government has received1,741,904million baht of revenueon cash basis and disbursed2,389,167millionbaht of expenditure.To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 601,810million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of June 2021 was at 460,366million baht.
