Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Chaired the meeting of the national committee to prepare for The 2026 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) , No. 1/2024, in which Mr.Lavaron Sangsnit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Pornchai Thiraveja, Director General of the Fiscal Policy Office and Mr. Warotai Kosolpisitkul, International Economic Advisor of the Fiscal Policy Office also joined the meeting at Phakdeebodin Building Government House , February 7, 2024

Mr. Kiatnarong Wongnoi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Finance visited government agencies and state enterprise under the Ministry of Finance  in Phitsanulok Province to follow up on the performance according to the Ministry of Finance's policies and assigned missions as well as receive a brief summary of the operation and discuss on problem and solution guidelines, in this occasion he paid a courtesy call on Mr. Phusit Somchit, Governor of Phitsanulok Province and meeting with the private sector to discuss government issues related to the Ministry of Finance, he also visited to encourage the work of the officials of the Region 6 Office of the Comptroller General's Department, The Phitsanulok  Provincial Office Of The Comptroller General, Phitsanulok Area Excise Office, Phitsanulok Area Revenue Office, and visited the area to follow up on important projects according to government policy at the ASEAN Recycling Institute. Mr. Julapun Amornvivat, Deputy Minister of Finance  had discussion meeting with Mr. Jin Liqun (Mr. Jin Liqun), Chairman of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) aimed to discuss cooperation between Thailand and AIIB for uplifting the Thai economy, in which AIIB is ready to support Thailand through cooperation in developing infrastructure that will raise the level of transportation, Domestic trade and international trade This will be beneficial to other countries in the region as well at the Minister of Finance lounge,  Ministry of Finance, February 1, 2024.
