Mr. Lavaron Sangsnit, Director–General of the Fiscal Policy Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, stated that in fiscal year 2019 (October 2018 – September 2019), the government has received 2,538,432 million baht of revenue on cash basic and disbursed 3,043,177 million baht of expenditure. To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 348,978 million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of September 2019 was at 512,955 million baht.

Mr. Lavaron Sangsnit, Director-General of the Fiscal Policy Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, stated that the government’s net revenue collection in fiscal year 2019 (October 2018 – September 2019) was 2,563,068 million baht, which was 26,123 million baht or 1.0% higher than last year and 13,068 million baht or 0.5% higher than revenue target. Revenue collection of Other Agencies, Revenue Department, and Customs Department, as well as remittances from State-owned Enterprises exceeded target by 46,014 9,145 8,522 and 1,159 million baht or 32.4% 0.5% 8.5% and 0.7% respectively. When compared to MOF’s estimation (as of June 2019), which is used for the purpose of revenue monitoring, revenue collection of most departments were close to MOF’s estimation.

stated that the government’s net revenue collection in the first 11 months of fiscal year 2019 (October 2018 – August 2019), was 2,332,840 million baht, which was 54,858 million baht or 2.4% higher than the same period of last year and 51,916 million baht or 2.3% higher than revenue target. This was mainly the result of revenue collection of other agencies, Revenue Department, remittances from State-owned enterprises, as well as revenue collection of Customs Department exceeding target by 44,043 36,016 14,655 and 8,016 million baht or 32.2% 2.1% 9.6% and 8.7% respectively.

The government budget disbursement was at 2,754,463 million baht. To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 348,978 million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of August 2019 was at 512,274 million baht.

the government’s net revenue collection in the first 10 months of fiscal year 2019 (October 2018 – July 2019), was 2,119,739 million baht, which was 91,218 million baht or 4.5% higher than the same period of last year and 60,444 million baht or 2.9% higher than revenue target. This was mainly the result of revenue collection from Revenue Department, other agencies, remittances from State-owned enterprises, as well as revenue collection from Customs Department exceeding target by 48,208 40,865 14,893 and 7,909 million baht or 3.1% 31.1% 10.1% and 9.5% respectively.

To finance such deficit, the government has borrowed 322,978 million baht. Therefore, the treasury reserve at the end of July 2019 was at 484,550 million baht.
